Great American Seafood Cook-Off

I'm a big seafood lover.. But me, I enjoy many kinds of seafood prepared in so many different ways. Shrimp, Crabs, Oysters, Mussels, lobsters, and different kinds of fish. I just created a very simple dish that can compliment my taste and crave for shrimp and garlic. The flavor of garlic and shrimp blend together cooked in a little amount of wine, black pepper, sugar and salt is a sure hit for shrimp lovers like me. Here's the simple and easy to do recipe if you want to try it:

1 lb tiger shrimps
10 cloves garlic (sliced thinly)
oil
3tbsp cooking wine
2tbsp coarse black pepper
sugar and salt (follow your taste)

Procedure:
Dry the shrimp by frying in oil to remove the water on it. Set aside. Stir-fry garlic until brown in color, then put the shrimp on it and stir. Add the wine, sugar and salt until flavor is well-absorbed. Last, sprinkle the black pepper when the shrimp has been cooked. That's it!

If you guys have tried this recipe, you can share any ideas or suggestions to improve the taste of this recipe. Or feel free to reply if you have a recipe of your own that you can share. I would be very glad to receive any from you. How I wish this recipe can be a contender in Cook off happening in August 2-3 in New Orleans. I am excited on this event since I am a seafood enthusiast and love to see the different dishes the contestant prepared for this event. These events help show the positiveness of domestic seafood sustainability. These seafood plates are grown are known, it is local and fresh. It makes us appreciate more of our seafood.

This is a big media and national event with funding by the NOAA fisheries, Louisiana food expo, PBS of Louisiana, Michelob, Shell, and many other large companies. I am excited now to watch it, it will be televised on the Food Network channel too, or if you want you can watch it live coz they are also selling tickets to the events.
