Neighborhood

Just done shopping after my ENT appointment, bought some stuffs for the Christmas tree. Good thing lights were not needed anymore because husband bought a fiber optic tree.

This neighborhood spent a lot on decorations, the houses across the street put up a Christmas lights all over their house and garage, awesome work. Some set-up a Bethlehem in their yards, or big Santa Claus (which is lighted inside) in their front door. What really amazes me is how they set the lights with style, there is this house that has reindeer running in his yards, of course it's not actually running, it's only an optical illusion made by the lights. By just looking at it, I guess he spend thousands of dollars with this kind of decoration. Made me curious who the owner is. We just moved to this neighborhood about 3 months ago, the only people I've known so far are the elderly couple who lives next door.

Later on, my husband said that the owner of that house has a reputation of making the best decorations every Christmas. And his name answered all my curiosity, he is Mr. Nick Claus. What a name.

Day-off

Finally, at last ---a day-off.... a do nothing, lay around and read the paper, do my foot spa, catch up on some blogs, chat with friends, maybe go see a movie & relax. Ah,..I'm dreaming....there's no such thing as day off..my "things-to-do list" is waiting for me. I have to go for ENT check up today. And then there’s that stack of bills that requires some check writing. Make Christmas cards, set up the Christmas tree and decorate, clean the kitchen, vacuum the floor, do laundry, give Sarge a bath and oh, the "honey-do list". First and foremost, I need to cook a good dinner tonight someone's   complaining I'm not cooking anything), we've been eating frozen foods and take outs lately. Now, that I'm working in the Hospital's diet office, I've been learning about proper foods to serve. Since we have ground beef in the fridge, 3 pieces of potatoes, and green beans, I've decided to cook meatloaf, with mashed potatoes, gravies and green beans. Christmas is little over 1 week away and I have yet to plan anything. Not sure if my stepdaughters will be here for Christmas. Sadly, there goes my day off…

Now you can request prison inmate records, as well as inmate license records and all other pertinent vital records. Any State, anywhere in the USA! Whatever your reason is for requesting prison inmate records,Federal Prison Inmate Locator is one of the best sources where you can obtain information.

Some people acquire this kind of information because they want to check out the records of the person while he or she is still in jail. There are also some people who just want to make sure that they are not residing near an ex-convict who still has the capability to commit a wrongdoing.

If you want to obtain records of a certain inmate, all you have to do is check out the site and use its inmate locator. You can locate Nationwide Federal Inmate Reports Fast with their Direct Data Retrieval. In order for you to find the inmate whom you are searching for, you need to supply details about the individual. The locator will provide you with a list of inmates who have similar names to the one that you have given. One form of information that you can get from looking up inmate records is the address of the prison or the number of the cell. Aside from the name, you can also provide the sex, race, and age of the person. This additional info will make your search easier. It's only a click away!

Yes, Virginia there is a Santa Claus

Jon and I were invited to watch a play last night at Grand Opera House. It was a last minute invitation, and I have no idea what's the play is all about. What makes me excited is the idea of watching our good friend Joan acting in the stage and her beautiful daughter Kari singing in the stage too. We arrived a little bit early, I got bored and walk around, it's an old building but has an impressive architecture, not so modern. Then, I saw Joan in 1897's costume walking towards on my direction, I was laughing, we hug and talk a bit about her role, as a salvation army widow, soon I realized that the play is all about the classic question of an 8 year old girl, Virginia O'Hanlon "Is there a Santa Claus?" What a lucky night, I thought.

I met or should I say, became familiar with Virginia in a popular TV Game show hosted by Kris Aquino, Pilipinas, Game ka na ba? Virginia made the contestant won 1 million pesos, a young high school boy. The million dollar question was, what was the first name of the 8 year old girl who wrote a letter over 100 years ago to the editor of the New York Sun.
"Dear Editor, I am eight years old. Some of my little friends say there is no Santa Claus. Papa says if you see it in the Sun, it's so. Please tell me the truth. Is there a Santa Claus?"

The smart contestant, not even a second answered "Virginia". And that made him a millionaire.

Surefire Flashlights

Surefire Weapon Lights

When it comes to quality flashlights that last a long time, gives powerful light and are simple to use, I recommend Surefire Flashlights. It is a tactical technology company who manufactures illumination tools that are powerful, compact, rugged and reliable. I personally own a Surefire LED Flashlights - it is a high performance flashlights with features such as digital regulator circuits to maintain consistent levels of light output for as long as possible, and digital current limiters to protect the LED module from current and heat-related damage. Surefire is the first to utilize these breakthrough features in a handheld LED. It is one of the top flashlights used by police officers and security guards. The sturdy design always makes me think it could double as a weapon if you run across a burglar or prowler in your home.

They are quite simply the best flashlights in the world!

Beware

Do you have a Capital One account? You might receive an email telling you to take part in their Christmas Reward Survey and in return they will credit your account $35 -just for your time. I've received an email from Capital One. I mean claiming to be from Capital One. They will give you a link to open and at the beginning I believe it was genuine, because they have the Capital One logo on the site, looks like a real Capital One website, where they will ask you to log in and enter your password. What makes me suspicious is that when I log in, it doesn't fill up my password automatically. In the real Capital One website, everytime I log in my username, my password filled up automatically, which is good because I forgot my password already for a long time now, I paid my monthly bills with that style. Now, back to that link they gave, I tried to log in, and guess a password, and Iwas surprised it opens another link, there you will filled up personal informations, and what makes me more suspicious is that there is a box asking for your account number, there you go......this is generally known as 'Phishing'.

Here's for you to try: this is the link they gave, open that site, try to log in using any names and password, and you will be directed to hoax website(but looks like a real one) and attempt to trick customers into supplying confidential personal information such as account numbers, PIN numbers and passwords.

If you think you've received a hoax email , you can forward it to abuse@capitalone.com. Or if you already supplied your personal information, report it immediately to Capital One. Check your transaction activities everyday. To be sure there's no one using your account.

The hard stuff

I regret quitting my job at the Casino to pursue a better opportunity ---or so I thought. After getting my last paycheck plus tips from them, I realized how much I will make in a month compared to my new job. Just for the tips alone would be enough to pay some of the bills and groceries.

Looking for the Best Price on Turbochargers?

Do you wanna go fast? Deciding to turbocharge your ride is a big decision, one that will transform your ride for the rest of its life. Whatever you do, don't just rush out and buy the first turbo that you see in a tuner mag. Before you invest, you'll need to plan out what you want for your ride in the long term. As you're planning your turbo installation, you should think about what accessories or upgrades you might want to add on in the future. For a long time now, my husband wants to supercharge/turbocharge his motor, because it will typically make an impressive horse power increase without significantly increasing its weight.

It's a great idea to study up on the various components of a turbo system and you want to make sure that your supercharger or turbocharger is working correctly. I recommend the Volkswagen turbo as a first read. Whether you are looking for Turbo, Superchargers, turbochargers and nose covers, or if you want VW turbocharger, Audi Turbocharger or any other model they have your unit in stock. They have a great selection of New and remanufactured parts, all have a complete warranty, available to ship today.

Second hand smoke

Floating Casino where I work
Talking about my previous post about the smoking ban here in the state of Iowa, but casinos are exempted. You are free to smoke all you want anywhere inside the casinos. I can't believe I'm now one of the casino employees who face a lot of health risks in the workplace. It's scary about having to go to work every day breathing in toxic smoke and then go home smelling like an ash tray. Some reasons I applied on this kind of place, first, it's closer to our house, second, there are tips involve. My job requires direct contact with customers, who wants to order drinks and food. I like the job but not the cigarette smoke issues, I think I will not keep this job. But I will stay until I find something better.

Smart Spending

In this difficult economic time, the solution is to tighten our belts and stop the spending spree. After seeing our net worth reduced by a large percentage, my husband and I seriously reconsider our budget. We've cut out over 30% of our spending and will be extremely careful until the financial crisis is resolved. We give up things when the price goes too high. When milk hit 2.80 a gallon, we started to buy it less. It's not close to $4, and we just don't buy it. The heat in the house is set at 62 all winter, day and night.

We combine trips—I rarely do an errand singly—when I go to the bank, I hit the seconds grocery and the country store on the same trip, walk or bike to do errands when we can. I buy second-hand whenever it makes sense. We go out less. Before we go out like 2 to 3 times a week, but we go less frequently now.

We rarely purchase "wanted" items any more. We buy only "needed" items. Needed items like eyeglasses. By not getting expensive glasses from the optometrist office anymore, we just ordered a pair of eyeglasses for only $8 and $12.95 frames from Zenni Optical. We brought it to our doctor and asked him about the quality, and they were high quality, perfect Rx, just like you'd get for $300+ elsewhere. We saved a lot on this item, prices are low because they sell only their own manufactured frames direct to the customer, with no middlemen and virtually no advertising budget. In fact they were even mentioned in a book here http://books.google.com/books?id=IizPul2vifUC&pg=PA119&dq=zenni+optical&client=firefox-a#PPA119,M1

With this, their product offerings meet our goals, that is to save money.

Chicken Enchiladas

I created this simple recipe one day by accident and it's now our favorite. I marinated the chicken in lime juice, chili powder, garlic, salt, pepper, diced green chilies and jalapenos(if you want a more flavor) and a bit of tequila few hours before cooking. I sauteed the chicken meat real good (sangkutsa) in onions with a little bit of cumin. And I put cheddar jack cheese and cilantro on top of the fillings with a lot of enchilada green/red sauce. Of course I ate mine with rice.

My.Suit Men's Professional Fashion

I love seeing a man wears a suit. The guys at my workplace wears suits and ties, and it is such a turn on when men dress up because most of them hardly ever do it. Oh and maybe that's why I love weddings so much. Prom wasn't bad either.

For suit colors, I think navy blue and mid-grey are nice, because they go with the greatest number of shirts and ties, can be anything from casual to wedding attire, and suit most colorings. And for the fabric, for Northeastern US residents, both should be wool or flannel to survive in a cold winter. My friend who is tall and slim loves to wear four button suit, and he really looks best on it. He told me about his Made to Measure experience.

"The overall experience with My.Suit is amazing. After making an appointment to be measured, you are able to select a style, fabric, color, and any number of features available, or that you can think of. The accuracy is unparalleled; anything I haven't expected is due to my own oversight. And to make things better, their service is great, prices are very reasonable (save at least $100 on a department suit) and they are very good about deadlines and letting you know when to expect your order; and yes, they'll even speed it up for you to meet that special occasion, which they've done for me before. I plan on only owning their clothing in my future work wardrobe. Highly recommended. The suit that came from My.Suit is much better. I wanted the front of the jacket hand basted instead of any fusing. Working sleeve buttons, hand picked lapels and pockets. The pants and the vest are both perfect fits. The overall fit and quality is great for the money even for many hundreds more."

And for a person whose measurements do not fit off the rack clothes, this site will help. Make an appointment to be measured now here http://www.mysuitny.com/make_an_appointment.asp.
My.Suit is a global company with over 40 years of manufacturing and retail experience. It is a division of one of the largest suit makers in the world. They sell made-to-measure suits at close to off-the-rack prices.

Understanding Unemployment Benefits

People are always reluctant to take something that perceived as welfare or handout. It's important for citizens to understand that unemployment benefits is not a welfare. Losing a job sucks, when we moved out and lose my job, I have been thinking of filing a claim but, my pride won't let me. Another reason, I thought it would affect my credit history too. After my last paycheck slip on my hand, I know I need to do something. I was shopping when I bumped to this ex-coworker, and told me she's getting unemployment insurance benefits. And she advised me to file as soon as possible because I might be eligible. If you were discharged because of misconduct, you will be denied a claim for sure. Not sure though, if quitting a job is eligible for unemployment. I quit my job because we move to different state. Well, there's no harm in trying, I went online and filed. I found out it's not welfare, it’s unemployment insurance your employer has been paying for. And it’s a program you’ve been indirectly paying into with each and every paycheck. Your employer has to pay an unemployment insurance tax that you make claims against if you are eligible (and unemployed). You indirectly pay for the insurance because in the absence of that tax, you could theoretically be paid more, either way it's money that RIGHTFULLY YOURS, if eligible.

The process was quick, they sent me a note stating that I am eligible to receive unemployment insurance benefits as long as I meet the other eligibility requirements (what other requirements na naman?). They have a records indicating I earned ten times in insured work after the disqualifying separation from my previous employers. I think the eligibility requirements and benefit payouts vary from state to state. Here in state of Iowa, you must have worked and earned a certain amount of wages in work covered by unemployment insurance in the last 15 to 18 months, have lost your job through no fault of your own, be able to work and available for work and be actively seeking work by in-person contact with employers.

The workforce center interviewed me by telephone, it's an informal meeting between claimant and employer and the workforce center representative. The purpose of this fact finding interview is to obtain information about the issue to be resolved (my issue is QUITTING). Following the interview, a decision was made based on the available info they obtained from me and my former employer. The workforce representative informed me that I will be receiving my first payment on this() date and check it with my bank institution, then instructed me to continue filing weekly. Receiving a payment for $200 plus weekly is like a bonus for me, but it doesn't mean I will stop searching for work. In fact, I was done with my job interview in the hospital and looks like I will get the job (hopefully). And Diamond JO Casino called me for an interview on Thursday. I'm not sure if I want to be a cocktail server but I heard the tips is good. Well, wish me luck. So for you unemployed people out there, we live in the land of opportunity and there’s always something around the corner, so until that corner turns you should consider filing for unemployment benefits.

NO smoking bill

It's been a week since we moved back here in Dubuque. It's still the same, except when we went to the bar,, I noticed no one smokes inside and we found out that the law on no smoking took effect last July, well, good for me, coz I hate cigarette smokes. I remember before we move in Wisconsin, it's still a debate whether smoking ban should be imposed or not in Iowa. As far as health and health care and bringing down the price of insurance, it’s good. But, the fact that casinos are exempted, and bars not, I have mixed emotions on that. I thinks its unfair for small businesses like bars, people go to bar to unwind and smoke, I know because, hubby and me frequents to the bar, and one of our friend is a bar owner. I think it’s quite clear that the state has said it’s OK to smoke as long as you keep dropping money in the one-arm bandits. Unfortunately, they’re going to force more people to go to casinos, where they’re going to spend money, drink and drive home.

Free People Search

Yes, it is free! And does not pretend to be free like some of the services out there that pretend to be free, but if you really want more information they will charge you an expensive fees. When I first came here in the State, the first thing I did is to look up some friends and classmates that immigrated here. I used a lot of free people search services but they will just inform me that they found the one that I've been looking for but they will not show you the complete address and phone number, if you want to know, there is a charge.

Now, there's a great way to find them, I used people finder and was very happy with the outcome, the searching is so easy, the complete address and phone number showed up without charging me anything. I contacted my long lost friend in California right away and she was surprised how I found her. Well, I told her about how I've been searching her for a long time now and uses a lot of search engine, until I found out about this lookupwho.com site that offers free search. Then we made a deal of searching for other classmates in high school who now lives here in the States and in Canada. The services is open to USA and Canada as of the moment.
Just enter the person's name, and state and they will provide you with more information about that person your looking for.

Dealing with the Stress of Moving

We're moving back to Iowa tomorrow, it's not fun actually. Moving is so stressful. This is the fourth time we will be moving, and now I learned my lesson from the past. It is best to be organized as you get ready to move in your new home. The great way to be organized is to do several things before you move and do few things after you move. I checked out things, anything that should be taken to the junk yard. Things that are not usable or are not functioning well should be put on trash, its such a waste of spaces on the moving truck (we pay for the weight basis). We have this entertainment center cabinet thats really heavy and the treadmill. We tried to sell it but no one wants to buy it. We have a lot of old clothes that we no longer use, some I packed and shipped it to my family, then some went to garbage can. If you have things that have low value and you do not need anymore but are in good condition, you give them away or sell them. In moving, you need a moving company to move your things from your old house to your new home. Good thing we have a close friend who works in a moving company and she always gave us a good deal. But the most most difficult aspects of moving is the number of changes and transitions it involves. Like finding a new job, dealing with new neighbors etc... another life's challenges.

Thanks, PPP

This must be quick, I really need to write this post to express my appreciation to PayPerPost. I just cashed my earned money from this blog yesterday and went shopping. As what I've wrote on my previous post when PPP accepted my blog, my earnings will be for Christmas presents for my family in the Philippines. And now is the perfect time to send a package for them, usually it takes 2 months before it will reach the receiving country. Here are some of the stuffs I bought I know they will like, a tennis shoes, digital camera, NBA tshirt, perfume,make-up, chocolates, coffee. I wanted to add a PSP (special request from my nephew)but my budget ran out, must write more PPP opportunities, to earn more, lol. I know I neglected my blog the past few weeks, I'm so stressed out with a lot of things like moving again, having a full time job, lifting of my conditions, etc., that I have no time to write a post and visit other blogs. My apology to my blogger friends who I've neglected to pay a visit but they continue to visit my blogs. I know I owe you, friends, I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
Now, I discovered a new way again to fill up my pay pal earnings, I just join Cashcrate
and within 2 weeks of completing surveys, I already have an approved September earnings of $38.60 and pending earnings of $52.25. I'm just doing this thing on my extra time, like 1 hour a day after I'm done on my important things to do in the internet. So, guys, if you have 1 hour to spare in the internet, why not do this stuffs and earn dollars, (you will not pay anything)wherever you are in the world, even in the Philippines, they have some offers for you too. I'm just sharing what I'm enjoying right now, just an extra small cash to supplement your income. Not bad.

Harley Riders

Milwaukee is the headquarters of Harley Davidson. Thousand of riders rumbled into this town last week. The sound of the Harley-Davidson motorcyle filled the air the whole week here in our place, as soon as I wake up and it's awesome. It's amazing seeing a group of riders coming from all over the states or worldwide as they said, waving their flags on their bikes. Darn, I missed the fun watching the activities including the Saturday night performance of Bruce Springsteen and the E street Band because of my work schedule.

Best-ever relay

The moment I've been waiting in the Beijing Olympics is the 4x100-meter free style relay team with Team USA against the France. I was intrigued with what the boastful remark of Alain Bernard, "The Americans? We're going to smash them. That's what were here for." So, I waited till 11 pm yesterday just to watch the competition. Australia was on the lead on the first leg, then France took over, and you can actually called the race for the French with about 60 meters left. But this is the unbelievable...Jason Lezak (USA)pulled off the fastest 100-meter split in the history of the games. While I was watching it, it's like I'm watching a movie, unstoppable, impossible mission of the americans, for a split second you can see the french so far ahead, and when it was over, you will surprised that American won.

Removing Conditions

Ninety days from now is the expiration of my Conditional Permanent Resident Card (known as Green Card). And we must have to file jointly (husband and me) for the Removal of the Condition to be able to get the Permanent Resident Card. We just mailed the packet today, good thing Jon take the day off today and we went to the post office together. To be sure, we mailed it via Priority with tracking number. According to some websites, California Service Center process faster than Vermont or Texas, well hope it's true. Because time is really important for us now due to our plans of moving next month. Hoping I get a mail for biometrics before we move on September.

For those readers who doesn't know, this process is for the immigrant who married a US Citizen. USCIS or Department of Homeland Security, wants to be sure that your marriage is real and you did not come to the US to evade immigration laws. They wanted evidence of relationship such as documents showing that you live together as husband and wife. Here are some strong evidence that you can send: financial records showing joint ownership of assets and joint responsibility for liabilities, such as joint savings account and checking accounts. Joint federal and state tax returns, insurance policies that show the other spouse as beneficiary, joint installments and other loans. Lease or mortgage contracts showing joint occupancy and or ownership of your communal residence. You can also add an affidavit of y0ur friends attesting to your relationship and marriage, letters from relatives and friends, christmas cards, holiday cards or anything that shows that you live in the same address. I included all of these in our packet just to be sure we will not get RFE's or delay for additional informations.

Great American Seafood Cook-Off

I'm a big seafood lover.. But me, I enjoy many kinds of seafood prepared in so many different ways. Shrimp, Crabs, Oysters, Mussels, lobsters, and different kinds of fish. I just created a very simple dish that can compliment my taste and crave for shrimp and garlic. The flavor of garlic and shrimp blend together cooked in a little amount of wine, black pepper, sugar and salt is a sure hit for shrimp lovers like me. Here's the simple and easy to do recipe if you want to try it:

1 lb tiger shrimps
10 cloves garlic (sliced thinly)
oil
3tbsp cooking wine
2tbsp coarse black pepper
sugar and salt (follow your taste)

Procedure:
Dry the shrimp by frying in oil to remove the water on it. Set aside. Stir-fry garlic until brown in color, then put the shrimp on it and stir. Add the wine, sugar and salt until flavor is well-absorbed. Last, sprinkle the black pepper when the shrimp has been cooked. That's it!

If you guys have tried this recipe, you can share any ideas or suggestions to improve the taste of this recipe. Or feel free to reply if you have a recipe of your own that you can share. I would be very glad to receive any from you. How I wish this recipe can be a contender in Cook off happening in August 2-3 in New Orleans. I am excited on this event since I am a seafood enthusiast and love to see the different dishes the contestant prepared for this event. These events help show the positiveness of domestic seafood sustainability. These seafood plates are grown are known, it is local and fresh. It makes us appreciate more of our seafood.

This is a big media and national event with funding by the NOAA fisheries, Louisiana food expo, PBS of Louisiana, Michelob, Shell, and many other large companies. I am excited now to watch it, it will be televised on the Food Network channel too, or if you want you can watch it live coz they are also selling tickets to the events. Just go to their website now for more information.

Moving Again

For the 4th time, we will be moving again. This time, were moving back in Dubuque, Iowa. I know it's so stressing to do this again, but we need to decide what's better for us, for economic reasons. I constantly complaining about soaring gas prices here, Jon's working in Milwaukee area, just about 30 minutes drive from here. We always compare our lifestyle wayback in Dubuque, I missed the very cheap house rental, and we both work close to our house, so gas is not an issue. Hope things will work out according to our plan.

"In God, We trust"

The title of my post today is now a name. Yes, a man named Steve Kreuscher was officially approved to change his name as "In God, We Trust". The 57 year old who is a school bus driver and amateur artist first name was changed to "In God," while his last name was changed to "We trust." The process to change his name took roughly three months. Now, I remember that changing names here is legal, and was also legalized in the Philippines a few years ago. As long as you have a valid reason to change your name. When I was in school, some of my classmates made fun of my last name, because it sounded like there's a meaning on it. But, that time, name change is not allowed yet. Because of my childish thoughts that time, I really wanted to change my last name, not knowing that it's my father's legacy, our last name should be alive. Then I met someone whose proud of her last name (which I think very scandalous and should be change), her last name is "Palaiyot", during roll call in the class, she comes before me, my last name starts with "P" too. The "P" is very popular then, every time there's a roll call , there's " Pante", "Pinabalot", "Pinacatay".. Hey, classmates! I don't mean to insult you here, just remembering our jolly moments, were proud of our last name, but we have to accept it has meaning in Tagalog. Let's get back to We trust, he says the new name symbolizes the help God gave him during tough times and says he can't wait to begin signing his artwork with it.

From The Desk of BARR THOMAS KOSOMBOKOSOMBO CHAMBERS DUBAIUnited Arab Emirate (U.A.E.)
ATTN I am Barr. THOMAS KOSOMBO, an International legal practitioner, Barrister at law and the personal attorney to Mrs. Judith Bowman, I have an urgent and very confidential business proposition for you. An American Oil consultant and contractor with the Shell Dev Company, Mrs. Judith Bowman of Huntington Beach California made a numbered time (Fixed) Deposit for twelve calendar months, valued at US$6,000,000.00 (Six Million United State Dollars) in my bank. Upon maturity,

I sent a routine notification to his forwarding address but got no reply. After a month, we sent a reminder and finally we discovered from his contract employers, the SHELL DEV CO that Mrs. Judith Bowman have died in a plane crash in Egypt Air Flight 990, 1999 air crash (for more information about this crash and person you can contact this website http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/502503.stmSince we got this information about her death and on further investigation, I found that she died without making a WILL and all attempts to trace her next of kin was fruitless. I therefore made further investigation and discovered that she did not declare any kin or relations in all her official documents, including her Bank Deposit paperwork in my Bank.
This sum of US$6,000,000.00 is still sitting in the Bank and the interest is being rolled over with the principal sum at the end of each year. No one will ever come forward to claim it. According to Laws of United Arab Emirates, at the expiration of 7 (seven) years, the money will revert to the ownership of the DUBAI (U.A.E) Government if nobody applies to claim the fund.
Consequently, my proposal is that I will like you as a foreigner to stand in as the next of kin to Mrs. Judith Bowman so that the fruits of her labor will not get into the hands of the government. This is simple, I will like you to provide immediately your full names and address so that I can make some changes in her file immediately to purport you as her next of kin. A bank account in any part of the world that you will provide will then facilitate the transfer of this money to you as the beneficiary/next of kin. And I will give you 30% of the total sum after the transaction
More details and my laid down strategy to realize this deal will be sent to you upon your response
Awaiting your urgent reply via my confidential email

Save money on Black-Friday.net

Are you familiar with Black Friday? As a new immigrant, I have no idea what is this means, I've only known about this last year, it is the day after Thanksgiving when major retailers around the country discounts products to help kick off the Christmas shopping season. I had spent two Thanksgiving here so far. I normally start my Holiday shopping the day after Thanksgiving. And I noticed that right after the Thanksgiving, half priced, sales and discounts, I have no idea that they called it Black Friday, maybe because the store will start at dawn, as early as 4am when it is still dark. I knew some people who slept on their car just to be the first in line. Some woke up as early as 3am. My first Black Friday experience was horrible, I stood in line for 3 hours outside, braving the cold weather because it's already winter time. Then when it's my turn to enter the store, the clerk asked for my coupon, I wanted to buy a half-priced GPS that time, but I have no coupon. They required a coupon so you can buy the merchandise that they advertised half-priced.

Not until last year when I learned about cyber monday , my Holiday shopping was very convenient, thanks to this website. It helped me get a great deal on my PDA, I saw the Staples PDA ads like 15 days before Thanksgiving last year, I purchased it online without going to the store, I save around 150 bucks, this is really cool! Black-Friday.net offers direct links to each product so you can purchase the items online on Black Friday without having to stand in line at the store. The site lets you purchase Black Friday items online without the hassle of having to wake up early at 3am or 4am. Black-Friday.net also offers email alerts as soon as the ads starts posting on their site. You will just enter your email address in the Email Updates section of their site to be notified when new Black Friday ads are posted. It gives you the advantage by showing you all of the Black Friday ads before anyone else.

My blood type

Thank you Mylou, Prily and Avee for this tag....
According to a Japanese institute that does research on blood types, there are certain personality traits that seem to match up with certain blood types.

TYPE O – You want to be a leader, and when you see something you want, you keep striving until you achieve your goal. You are a trend-setter, loyal, passionate, and self-confident. Your weaknesses include vanity and jealously and tendency to be too competitive.
TYPE A – You like harmony, peace and organization. You work well with others, and are sensitive, patient and affectionate. Among your weaknesses are stubbornness and an inability to relax.
TYPE B – You’re a rugged individualist, who’s straightforward and likes to do things your own way. Creative and flexible, you adapt easily to any situation. But your insistence on being independent can sometimes go too far and become a weakness.
TYPE AB – Cool and controlled, you’re generally well liked and always put people at ease. You’re a natural entertainer who’s tactful and fair. But you’re standoffish, blunt, and have difficulty making decisions.

What is your blood type? From above definition does it fit your personality? Now it is time to roll this Blood Type Tag….I'm passing this to: Beth, Simply Me, and Ness.

8 Random Facts/Habits about me

It is not my purpose to give an inventory of my habits/facts about me, but Marie tagged me with this and I like her so, I will make this tag now.
Enjoy reading and check if you'll be tagged next. :)
Here are the rules:
1. Each player starts with 8 random facts/habits about themselves.
2. People who are tagged, write a blog post about their own 8 random things, and post these rules.
3. At the end of your post you need to tag 8 people and include their names.
4. Don’t forget to leave them a comment on their blog and tell them they’ve been tagged, and to come back and read your blog for the whole story.

******* 8 Random Facts/Habits***********

1. I have this habit of being thrifty(frugal)heheheh, but it doesn't mean I'm missing out on life, I buy into the importance of not living beyond our means. And there’s a great deal of comfort and satisfaction to be had in having money on the bank so that we're not devastated by the next misfortune.
2. I don't know but I tend to cry easily, any strong emotions that envelops me, even images that looks pitiful, or when I see a pathetic beggar in the streets, I cry, hubby said I'm sissy.
3. I am often consumed with worry about my siblings, my family, their economic situation is not good. I lie awake at night worrying: Are they okay? Are they happy? Is everything all right with them? Especially now that my nephew has a long term disease called Hydrocephalus.
4. I have memory problem, so if I forget you, please don't get mad at me, it's just me.
5. I'm very big on having celebrity crushes. My first was Ralph Macchio, during his stint on Eight is Enough(hehehe, my age is obvious now). I have since moved on to Harrison Ford, Russell Crowe, and Adam Sandler.
6. My favorite movie is "Gladiator" by Russel Crowe.
7. I'm against the death penalty.
8. I'd like to have children. Or, at least, A child.

Well, that's what I can give now folks!:)Now am tagging Shareen, Laura, Sexymom, Simply Me, Gigi, Island Paradise, Darlene,JonnA, iMELDA.

Social Spark is Sparkling Live!

There's a new social site that you can join and it's now live. Kudo's to Team IZEA to make SocialSpark a reality.

When I first visited the site, it was confusing with all the applications running on the site, (maybe only for a technically-challenged like me)there are some codes that you will put on your blog (if you sign up as a blogger). But now, that I'm familiar with it, it's easy for me to figure out how does it works. The site is eye-catching, the designs and colors is inviting too, you can meet fellow bloggers, leave comments on bloggers and advertisers account, and you can send private messages too.

This buzzing new site will provide an additional way to market your site, it will feature your blog with information about it that will be readily be available to all the other members of the community.

I've signed up right away as a blogger and gain a lot of friends, like Archit , he is one of my favorite and I picked him up because he is willing to help newbies like me that needs assistance with technical and all other things, he joined Social Spark since it's Alpha test period, that's why he is well acquainted with the site's Terms and Conditions. His blogger profile is also on the SocialSpark top 10 Blogger list.

What I like about it, this site has code of ethics, I like sites that have ethics! Their code includes such niceties as in-post disclosure, they want honest opinions (not just “yes man” lip service), and they are search engine friendly posts because of the “no-follow” attribute so as not to affect search engine rankings.

Well, there are some things that I don't like so far, other than it takes some time to load, I observed that some members are taking advantage or going crazy over popularity by adding friends and inviting them to prop their blog, or there are some private messages informing you that they prop your blog and they expected you to do the same with their blog. And when I try to take opportunities, it appears that I do not qualify to take them. And if you qualified for the offer, they will ask if you want to reserve the opportunities and they will put you in line. The waiting thing is frustrating.

I have problem navigating when I'm in the site too, I always get lost along the way all the time. I wish their web design is a lot easier and more simple to navigate for more speed and quick browsing.

An Amazing Mother

I just finished watching a new show in the television about this huge family. Michelle Duggar of Tontitown, Arkansas is pregnant. With her 18th child.....and says she has no plans to stop any time soon. I was so amazed how this woman managed to have many kids and keep adding, her new baby will due on New Year's day. She has been pregnant for more than 11 years of her life. The Duggar children, all with first names beginning with "J," range from Jennifer, 9 months, to Josh, 20. They're all home-schooled.

The show looks at life inside the Duggar home, where chores — or “jurisdictions” — are assigned to each child. One episode of the show involves a “jurisdiction swap,” where the boys do chores traditionally assigned to the girls, and vice versa. The girls swapped jurisdictions, changing tires, working in the garages, mowing the grass. The boys got to cook supper from start to finish, clean the bathrooms,” among other chores.

They are followers of the evangelical Christian movement called Quiverful, which teaches that children are God’s blessing and that husbands and wives should happily welcome every child they are given.

And they won’t stop, because they can’t stop. Duggar said she’s six weeks along and the pregnancy is going well. She and her husband, Jim Bob Duggar, said they’ll keep having children as long as God wills it.

Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but, isn’t it pretty risky to give birth after age thirty-five? Or perhaps after seventeen babies.......

Mass on Sunday

God is pretty amazing in the way that He continues to provide for me. Being new in this place, I'm lucky to have a church near home. I think I have found the one in this church, there is a strong sense of community, contemporary service and great youth program. I like the way priest expresses his sermon, humorous but full of conviction and convincing. Although, hubb doesn't goes with me, he is not a catholic, I enjoy attending sunday service regardless where the church is.

This church is twice the size of the church in Dubuque. Very huge inside and nice. The only thing that I notice here, after the mass, the priest will go to the exit door where everyone can say a final goodbye, greet, shake hands, or talk to him. Since no one knows me there yet, and my first time, I introduced myself to him(Father Bob), and he gave me a welcome blessing. Unlike the Catholic churches that I attended in the Philippines, church here serves wine to all during communion. But up to you, if you want to drink, because a lot of people will drink on one glass. At least 1 glass in a line. The server just wipe the mouth of the glass after each drink. Some drinks, some don't. Another thing, at the time of communion, people will stay in their seat and wait for their turn to stand up and goes in line. First row at the front will stand first, goes in line, then second row, third row, and so on and so forth. It's systematic, if you will attend in the Philippine church, people will just line up regardless of the seating arrangement. People are everywhere, standing at the back or side, crowded.

HIRED

Today will be my first day at work. I was hired by Roundy's, the company who operates Pick "n Save. Here in Wisconsin, I notice that Pick 'n Save are everywhere in the corner. So during one of my grocery shopping trip, I tried to apply on their online hiring center kiosk. It was so quick, after 10 minutes, they called me right away for an interview. It's not my dream job, but I have to keep my paycheck going, I just received my last paychecks from Dubuque School and Y last Friday. So, this job offer is a blessing to continue my paycheck.

Be Aware

Every time there's a discussion/topic about an embarrassing moment, this particular episode of my life as a fast food crew always comes to my mind first. Of course, I have plenty of embarrassing moments in my life but this one is the most unforgettable and affected me the most. Just coming out of my shell on this one, this is the one that I don't want to reveal but we have to sometimes come out of our shell just to let everyone aware of the good and bad of the situation that you got into, a lesson learned that everybody must be benefited. Like eating an oyster, it's nutritious but there are some bad too if your not aware,so be aware, visit Gulf oysters to know more about what I'm talking about.

Anyway here's the video I made up to brag everybody about my most embarrassing moment, that I was terminated from my job because of this.

Flower Award

This is so sweet, thanks Ness for giving this single red rose. It makes my difficult day better. I remember the first flower that I ever received, it was Valentines day and a gorgeous fresh single rose. The gorgeous flowers have long gone but even after long years, the breathtaking memory has not diminished one bit. Everytime I see a red rose, it reminds me of those beautiful flowers and the card message. Flowers have a way of creating strong and lasting memories. Flowers may fade but the emotions felt never will.

We always gives flowers to someone very special to us. I would like to pass this flower award to these special ladies: Shelley, Petradear, Prily, Janababe, Shareen, Chant, Nedekcir, Lispeth, Tanya, and JOnna. And to all my blogger friends who are interested please feel free to grab it. :)
